I haven't read this book yet – but I’ve seen Dr Phil McGraw (the author) talk about this book and the concepts in it, on the 'Oprah Winfrey Show' on television.

I was so impressed that I’ve added this book as a Sleepydust Pick (I usually only add books that I have read and love to the ‘Sleepydust Picks’ list).

The concepts that Dr Phil spoke about were so good that I taped them and showed them to a couple of friends – both of whom were impressed and said they hadn’t expected them to ‘hit home’ in the way it did.

Dr Phil says that there are:

  • 10 defining moments
  • 7 critical choices
  • 5 pivotal people, which have ‘shaped’ your life until now.

By identifying them and accepting them, and learning from them, you can ‘create your life from the inside out’ as the title suggests.
