This organisation campaigns for the rights and understanding of people who self-harm. Provides information, contacts and workshops on matters relating to self-harm, in addition promotion of survivor-written literature. To challenge the assumptions and demystify common misconceptions surrounding self-harm.

Callers can contact the organisation by mail only. Further information should be despatched within 1-2 weeks. SAE with 39p stamp is appreciated.

Assist offers national cover and aims to support anyone who has suffered trauma, and who may be suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Open to all. The service provided includes; trauma counselling, cognitive behaviour therapy, assessments as well as a telephone helpline. Support workers will telephone clients to provide regular support. Face to face sessions can be arranged for those living in Rugby.

Further information is available on request and is usually dispatched within 3 days. No SAE required.

The Traumatic Stress Clinic provide help for adults, young people, children and families who are suffering psychological reactions to having been involved in or witness to a traumatic event. They are open to all and offer counselling, treatment programmes, advice & research.
